APPLYING TO C-GCC

To Become a New C-GCC Student:

Complete the online no fee Columbia-Greene Application for Admission and follow up by submitting all required supporting documents (see the Admissions Checklist for details).

If you prefer, you may print out and mail a completed no fee Columbia-Greene Application for Admission (PDF opens in new browser window). Paper copies of the Columbia-Greene Application for Admission are available from the C-GCC Office of Admissions or most area high school guidance offices. You may also request a paper copy of the Application for Admission by writing to the C-GCC Office of Admissions at the address below, by calling (518) 828-4181 extension 5513, or by e-mail.

Your completed Columbia-Greene Application for Admission and/or all supporting documents must be mailed to:

To apply to multiple SUNY colleges, visit the SUNY website at http://www.suny.edu/student/Apply/Apply.cfm (link opens a new browser window to SUNY application page). There is a $40 application fee payable to the SUNY Application Processing Center.

Consider Readmission:

Students who attended C-GCC previously in a degree program, did not complete the degree and have missed at least one fall or spring semester since last attending must complete a Columbia-Greene Application for Readmission in order to return in a degree program. There is no fee for readmission.

The Application for Readmission may be completed online, or you may print out and fax (518-822-2015) or mail the completed C-GCC Application for Readmission form (PDF opens in new browser window) to the Admissions Office along with official transcripts of coursework you may have completed during your time away from C-GCC. You may also request a paper copy of the Application for Readmission from the C-GCC Office of Admissions by writing to the address below, by calling 518-828-4181 extension 5513 or by e-mail

Completed Columbia-Greene Application for Readmission and/or official transcripts of other completed coursework must be mailed to:

Readmitted students are bound by the program and degree requirements of the catalog published for the year they are readmitted.

An Application for Readmission is required to return to degree study under the following circumstances, even if no spring or fall semester was missed:

Applicants for readmission do not have to fill out a new C-GCC Application for Admission upon returning to C-GCC.
