Main Circulating Collection:
In addition to collecting materials supporting the two-year community college curricula, this collection includes a large fiction, literature, history, and art section and also includes extensive historical materials about Columbia and Greene Counties. The loan period is three weeks.
Ettelt Children’s Collection:
This children’s collection began in Fall 2000 in honor of retired librarian, Harold Ettelt. We hope to keep this collection growing with the help of donations. Students of the Children’s Literature course, students who are parents, Day Care, and many other patrons enjoy this collection. To view the titles in this collection, type Ettelt as a “subject heading” search in our Book Catalog. The loan period is 3 weeks.
We have a comprehensive collection of USGS maps of the local counties as well as a variety of historical and world maps. Materials do not circulate.
The Columbia-Greene Community College Library is constantly adding new materials to the collection of resources available to the campus community as well as to residents of Columbia and Greene counties.
Our list of new book purchases is typically generated every two months and is organized alphabetically by Library of Congress Subject Headings.
