CGCC Student Information Portals
C-GCC has created student accounts to enable you to use one username and password for most of the services we offer: Log in to Blackboard for course syllabi and other important course information or coursework. Log in to Microsoft® Office 365 to get access to email, software and other resources. And log in to Degree Works™ to track progress toward earning your degree.
Before you can do any of that for the first time, there are a couple of things you’ll need to do:
Once you have registered your student account, use it to log in to Office 365 for email and other resources. Download and use the Microsoft® suite during your time as a student at C-GCC.
For online and hybrid classes, C-GCC provides Blackboard LearnTM. The instructors of your campus-based classes may also use Blackboard for the course syllabus and other resources and elements. All C-GCC students can log in to Blackboard using their C-GCC student accounts, so once you’ve registered your account and changed your password, check out what your classes offer online.
Degree Works™ is a newly implemented degree audit tool at Columbia-Greene Community College that allows students to track their progress toward degree completion and graduation.
Why Degree Works™?
Degree Works™ enables you to track your degree requirements and progress toward your degree in real time. And, you can use Degree Works™ anytime – whether you are on campus or at home – as long as you have access to an internet connection.
If you haven’t already done so, you’ll need to register your C-GCC student account before you can log in to Degree Works™. See the “Student Accounts” section higher up on this page.
Find out more about Degree Works™, how to log in, and how to use it by viewing our Degree Works™ FAQ
* Keep an eye on this area – we will post Degree Works™ system maintenance schedules here as soon as we know them. *
The Jenzabar PX® CampusConnect® Student Access System provides current students with a web interface to their personal records at Columbia-Greene Community College. View your current class schedule, check on your financial aid history, look at your current grades or unofficial transcript, check course availability, and be sure that your demographic information is up to date. All this without having to visit a single office on campus! Your information is kept secure via Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) – you must log in with a username and PIN, and may access only your own records. The username and pin are NOT the same as your student account used for email and other resources.
